Eyes problems (computer related)
I am a computer programmer and I have problems with my eyes (started two years ago and worsening all the time): they start to hurt after a few hours of work in front of the computer and it is very difficult for me to continue working in this state. I also believe that there can be many people with conditions resembling mine, who also work with computers throughout the day. And if anyone can recommend a treatment or exercises, to improve my eyes – I would like very much to read them. My eyes are constantly red and I’ve already done the regular things: giving a rest every hour or so, spending less time in front of the computer screen, using the artificial tears eye drops. My eyeglasses are perfect for me – I’ve been to 2 optometrists. Sadly, my eyes continue to deteriorate. I have visited three doctors – they haven’t said anything. I cannot believe that there’s nothing to be done!

Soy milk - in moderation
Hi,
about soy milk: it's full of natural hormones (i found out just how "full" through my own negative experience). About 2 years ago, when i had migraine, i decided to try and switch from regular milk to the soy milk - because i drank a lot of coffee with milk. It came to almost a liter of milk a day.
Slowly, pains started appearing during monthly periods, stronger and stronger pains, resembling birth pains after a few months. Doctors.., myoma.., possibility of operation...I'm very worried, naturally.
Again, i spoke casually with my pharmacist and she said: "Why don't you try and reduce hormone rich foods? Like soy milk and.."
I stopped drinking soy milk and symptoms disappeared gradually. Real physical problem can arise from intaking too much soy.
Why did i have to get such information by chance? The good doctor could mention this link between hormone rich foods and myoma when he made the observation.
So, beware and take care.

Hello, today i will give a tip that can help with migraine.
I'm 49 years old and have been suffering from migraine for the last 30 years. With all the trimmings: vomiting, terrible headaches for up to 3 days, trying every pain reducing medicine (even the prescription ones) and so on... Of course, it all got worse as the years passed and the attacks grew in their strength. I could not enjoy any vacation/tour - everything ended with a terrible migraine. Those of you who have it will understand me completely. No doctor could suggest anything.
One day some six months ago, i mentioned my state to a distant relative, who happens to be a pharmacist. She said to try manesium - she heard it could help. I bought the magnesium tablets and: THE UNBELIEVABLE HAPPENED! After just 3 days, the pain reduced i'd say 80%.
i continued and took magnesium every day for the fist month or so, the started to skip a day or 2 to achieve a status-quo. I now take about one tablet a week.
I enjoyed a vacation full of activities for a first time in many years.
Now i think about it all and cannot beleive that no one mentioned it anywhere :
1. The doctors could bother a little bit more and let the people know that some of us can get help taking magnesium.
2. Those TV/Radio programs about the headaches could do the same.
3. Some publications could publish something.
I would like to read some responses.
